SeaPort Airlines is a division of the Juneau, Alaska-based Kalinin group of regional airlines, which include Alaska Seaplanes and Island Air Express. The company was started in 1997 and today operates over two dozen aircraft and employs approximately 300 team members. Kalinin Chairman and CEO Kent Craford co-founded the first SeaPort Airlines in 2008. The new SeaPort Airlines will finally fulfill its founders' original vision–bringing Seattle and Portland closer together again, and actually getting you home for dinner. It's about time.

We fly Pilatus PC-12s. Dubbed the Swiss Army Knife of the Skies, the Pilatus PC-12 is statistically one of the safest pressurized turboprops ever built. Its legendary PT6A engine is one of the most reliable in aviation history, delivering jet-like performance with turboprop efficiency. It’s Swiss-built, extremely strong airframe and advanced avionics, make the PC-12 a trusted tool of the United States Air Force. The aircraft fall outside TSA jurisdiction, allowing SeaPort to operate from small Business Aviation terminals at PDX and Boeing Field.

Frequent QUESTIONS

All baggage must be weighed. Each passenger is allowed 50 lbs. of baggage on a scheduled flight. Weight totaling over 50 lbs. is subject to excess baggage fees. Excess baggage is allowed, however it may not fit on same flight as passenger and is subject to fees. Carry-on baggage will need to be secured in the cargo area of the aircraft.

Passenger check-in is 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Passengers not checked-in 10 minutes before scheduled departure may be denied boarding without compensation. Failure to check-in on time will result in the cancellation of reserved seat(s). There may be occasions when aircraft flights may depart before or after scheduled times.

To maintain an on-time operation and as courtesy to other passengers our aircraft will not be held for late-arriving passengers.

One infant under two (2) years of age, not occupying a seat, may be carried free of charge with a full fare adult passenger.

An unaccompanied minor age five (5) through twelve (12) must have a responsible adult designated at the destination prior to flight’s departure and will be charged an Unaccompanied Minor Fee of $200 in addition to the regular fare.

FAA requires we account for actual passenger weight on each of our flights. Please provide Customer Service Agents your weight at the time of check-in.

Department of Transportation requires that all items considered or containing hazardous materials under must be declared at the time of check-in. Common hazard items include: Bear spray, batteries, explosives, combustibles and items containing flammables. If you are unsure if your item contains hazardous materials, ask a Customer Service Agent. Also see CFR Title 49 Part 172. Hazmat fees may apply. 

Time limitation for refund requests for refundable tickets is (1) one year from the date of original purchase.  Refunds will be credited to the original purchaser and made in the original form of payment.

A refund can be requested at any SeaPort Airlines office or from by emailing accounting@flyseaportair.com.

All Animals must be transported in airline-approved kennels provided by the customer.  SeaPort Airlines does not have kennels available for use by customers. All passengers expecting to travel with animal must declare the animal at the time of the reservation. 

Due to our size and weight limitations, not all animals are able to be accommodated. 

If passengers are traveling with a service animal, please call 877-FLY-1001 after booking the reservation to ensure space is available. SeaPort Airlines requires an airline-approved kennel for service animals.

All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking. The ticket value is good (1) one year from the original date of purchase.
